Africa’s Travel Indaba 2024, a global showcase of Africa's tourism potential, saw the participation of 26 African countries.

This event, which featured 344 products and over 1,200 exhibitors, including representatives from 55 countries and more than 1,100 buyers, underscored the global recognition of Africa's tourism potential.

The Klaserie Private Nature Reserve’s Wild & Free stand, a unique representation of our commitment to conservation, comprised 11 commercial lodges: Makumu Private Game Lodge, Baobab Ridge Private Lodge, Bateleur’s Nest Lodge, Ivory Wilderness, Simbavati Camp George, Simbavati Waterside, Simbavati Amani, Africa on Foot, nThambo Tree Camp, Ximuwu Lodge and Last Word Kitara. The Klaserie Private Nature Reserve was represented by Gijs Rinsma and its Community Pillar, Eco Children, by Charles Makukule.

This year's Indaba trade show proved to be a resounding success for our lodges, fostering valuable connections and positive interactions.  A key element to this achievement was the hosting of a "sundowners" event for industry attendees. The event provided a relaxed and social atmosphere, allowing attendees to connect with our lodge representatives in a more informal setting. This fostered deeper conversations and a chance to build relationships beyond the confines of a traditional trade show booth. Feedback from our lodges has been overwhelmingly positive, highlighting the success of the “sundowners” event.

This was the first time the Klaserie Private Nature Reserve showcased a stand, which made being awarded the Silver Medium Stand Award at Africa's Travel Indaba 2024 even more remarkable.This recognition has inspired us to continue innovating and improving our offerings, with a renewed commitment to providing exceptional experiences for our visitors.
